Meridian Hall in East Grinstead hosted a farewell party last Friday in celebration of all the staff and volunteers who since January have completed over 28,000 vaccines for the general public.
The building welcomed its final vaccination patients last Friday before the building becomes an events venue once again.
Since the site opened in January it had been managed by local GP federation Alliance for Better Care in partnership with East Grinstead Town Council.

Katherine Saunders, the CEO of Alliance For Better Care in partnership with the East Grinstead town council, has said it is now time for the hall the reopen to the community due to existing bookings in June and beyond, which the council has to honour.
Claire Hall in Haywards Heath will now take over from Meridian Hall’s successful vaccination centre.
The spokesperson for Claire Hall has expressed their gratitude towards all the staff and volunteers at Meridian Hall, as they now look forward to expanding their services and getting even more of the general public their vaccine.
